Availability of Retake Offer

See terms and conditions below for qualifying countries. Web-based and CD-ROM packages must be purchased from the respective country Web site or office in which you reside. Classroom and Blended packages must be purchased from the respective country Web site or office in which you plan to attend the training.

How to Take Advantage of the Retake Voucher in Your Package

Step 1: Select Your Certification Success Package

Select the Certification Success Package based on the certification you are looking to achieve. Your voucher will include the free retake which can be used for retaking the same exam that was included in the package.

Step 2: Prepare

Complete the training included with your packages and assess your knowledge using the ePractice exams.

Step 3: Schedule Your Exam

Exams are taken at Authorized Prometric Testing Center, which are located around the world. After you have completed your preparation, contact the desired testing center to schedule your exam date, time, and location.

Step 4: If applicable, schedule Your Retake Exam

Simply contact the Authorized Prometric Testing Center in the same manner you did for your initial attempt at the exam, and provide your original certification exam voucher number that came with your package. You must allow 72 hours after taking your initial exam before scheduling the free retake exam. Please also be aware that per Sun certification guidelines you must wait at least 14 days before you may retake any exam. There is no need to contact Sun to schedule your retake exam.

Exam vouchers are only valid in the country in which they are purchased. Each voucher associated with this program is valid for one exam and, if needed, one free retake. You must allow 72 hours after taking your initial exam before scheduling the free retake exam. Please also be aware that per Sun certification guidelines you must wait at least 14 days before you may retake any exam. Both the original exam and the free retake exam must be used within 12 months from the date of purchase of your original certification voucher. Certification vouchers may only be used at an Authorized Prometric Testing Center in the country where it was purchased. Please be aware that exam vouchers are nonrefundable for any reason.
