SYDNEY, October 28, 2009 - Due to the continued strength of the Australian and New Zealand dollars relative to the US dollar, Sun Microsystems Australasia is pleased to announce a decrease in price of approximately 10% for all hardware and software products in Australia and New Zealand. Please note that this change will not affect Services or Software Subscription prices.

The following rules apply:

• Price decreases are effective immediately and are not retroactive.
• For product ordered prior to the price change but not invoiced or shipped, new prices will apply.
• For product invoiced prior to the price change the existing invoices apply.
